COMO LOS PÁJAROS is the result of years of collective projects that went from folk music, rock, classic and contemporary Musical Theater into his journey at Berklee. This diversity of culture, music, people and styles brought in a project in which one of its main focuses is to connect people from all around the world, communicating in one only and universal language, music.

Nicolás Emden comes from the city of Osorno, Chile. He began his journey into music by the age of 6 singing and playing religious and traditional folk music from the south of his country. Between 2002 and 2014 he completed his first degree in music at Escuela Moderna de Música in Santiago and participated in several and diverse artistic projects, in which primarily are the Chilean Indie folk-rock band TEJADO PIMIENTO (2006-2012), with whom he published 2 studio albums (2007 & 2010), and participated in the famous TV program Garage Music 2008 (Canal 13) and the national Movistar Tour 2009. He also participated in different Music Theater productions in the professional music field of Santiago, as a music director, conductor and singer/actor. His first solo album was published in Chile on 2014 and produced by the renowned producer Claudio Quiñones. Its second single SOLO TENGO OJOS PARA TI is still programed in many radios of Santiago and other cities of the country. From this album also comes the Indie Documentary/Tour COMO LOS PÁJAROS X CHILE (2014), an 8 chapters YouTube documentary recorded on a motorhome one month travel, performing in public spaces of some of the most important cities of this country. Between those years, he was also invited by the Chilean-Canadian band COLOR VIOLETA (music from Violeta Parra, www.colorvioleta.ca), as a guest singer for lots of their concerts in Chile, Bolivia and Canada.

In 2014 he moved to the United States, to study voice, music direction and conducting for Musical Theater and other contemporary music ensembles at the prestigious Berklee College of Music in Boston. There, he had the chance to participate in world class shows with outstanding artists such as A.R. Rahman at the Boston Symphony Hall, vocal recording sessions with the Grammy-winner Irish composer Bill Whelan, and the Broadway hit Musical IN THE HEIGHTS performed at the Berklee Performance Center in November 2016.

In China, workers gather outside the factory, exhorted by their team leader to produce more and make fewer errors. A woman assembles a circuit breaker, and women and children are seen picking through debris or playing in it. Film Screening: Wild Daze
A powerful cinematic call to action to address the dire threats facing many species who depend on biodiversity, including our own.Wild DaZe is a feature-length documentary from filmmaker, Phyllis Stuart who created a powerful cinematic call to action to address the threats facing species who depend on biodiversity, including our own.

Audiences will not just fall in love with Africa as they journey across ten countries on the vast continent, but viewers will also see how crime and corruption fuels an annual $20 billion, illegal wildlife trade that produces an unnatural disaster impacting our entire planet.
Not only are animals being driven to the brink of extinction but humans living with the wildlife are also being exploited and displaced. This illegal wildlife trade is driven by many factors including unbridled crime and corruption, armed insurgents, trophy hunting, the pet trade, the bush meat trade and an insatiable consumer demand for natural resources.

Set in Sub-Saharan Africa, this gorgeous documentary reveals personal conservation stories set against a backdrop of the dire and pressing environmental ecocide. Since human beings are dependent on nature when we work to save nature, and non-humans, we are really working to save ourselves. Since human survival hangs in balance, we must decide whether we see ourselves as superior, as custodians, as entitled consumers or as a part of a delicate ecosystem.

Employing mesmerizing visuals captured by brilliant wildlife photographers and seasoned cinematographers, aided by powerful narration from Emmy-winning actor, Keith David, and bolstered by a bold musical score from Emmy-winning composer, Lolita Ritmanis, Wild DaZe shares the unvarnished truth about our tenuous relationship with nature.

Tem Blessed
Tem Blessed was born in West Africa and came to New Bedford when he was just a few years old. Growing up in New England, it didn’t take Tem long to fall in love with hip-hop. Before he even took the stage, the artist within him was already born. Tem started rhyming since the time he was a young boy.

Coming up as a young artist Tem Blessed was inspired by more than just a great sound. He stood strong to ideals like intelligence and integrity. His idea was to build something constructive as opposed to being destructive. A positive message sounded throughout Tem’s work as he developed a philosophy that shied away from some of the negative stereotypes associated with hip-hop.

Slick Rick and Doug E. Fresh were the two artists who inspired Tem to write his first rhyme. He also looked up to other artists including A Tribe Called Quest, Black Star, Wu-Tang Clan, Dead Prez, The Fugees and Common.

“What drew me to hip hip was that the music was teaching me something. It did something in addition to making me feel energized.” – Tem Blessed
Seeing hip hop change and evolve throughout the years, Tem wanted to concentrate on making the world a better place. That led him to go green and lobby for a more sustainable world in addition to a better future for all of our children.

Tem believes that in the music industry, sex, drugs and violence catches headlines for all the wrong reasons. That’s why he wanted something more for his place in the world of hip-hop.With more and more new hip hop artists losing sight of importance that comes with sending a message, Tem keeps his music inspiring as well as energizing.
